Spring Valley - Officers from the SVPD rushed to the scene Thursday afternoon, for a report of a person that was stabbed in front of 17 Slinn Ave.
Responding officers advised they got a person stabbed to the chest, police secured the scene for the Spring Hill Ambulance crew to step up, as well as the Rockland Paramedic Service (RPS) who transported the victim to a local hospital in stable condition.
From what we understood from radio transmissions, the perpetrator fled in a waiting car at the scene.
A BCI team was requested for investigations. We do not have more information in regards to this incident at this time. We will update when we get word from the Spring Valley Police Department.
