MVA With Entrapment On Rt-17 In Wallkill

TOWN OF WALLKILL – A multi-car accident on Route 17 eastbound in the Town of Wallkill Monday afternoon shut down the highway for some two hours.

Three vehicles were involved with a number of injuries reported.

While the accident victims were being attended to and the incident investigated, the highway eastbound was closed from approximately 2:15 p.m. to about 4 p.m.

During that time, traffic was backed up for miles.
