3 Alarm Fire Consumes Store In Harlem

Harlem. A big fire ripped through the Lazarus children clothing store located at West 125 Street & Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd in the Harlem section of Manhattan.

The fire first started around 7:30pm Sunday evening on the 2nd floor and quickly spread to the 3rd floor, leading FDNY to transmit the 2nd alarm and quickly after a 3rd alarm, a partial building collapse was also reported.

The fire was brought under control around 10:30pm, traffic in the surrounding area shut.

There were no immediate report of injuries officials say. Fire marshals are on scene to determine the cause of the fire.
