The smoke was so bad in the area, all lanes of the Bruckner Expressway were closed in both directions at 138th Street. and there was no 6 train services between 3ave-138st till Hunts Point Ave in both directions, but have since been reopened.
No injuries were immediately reported. In all, 140 firefighters from 33 units responded.
