One Dead Another Seriously Hurt In FDNY Inolved Crash

Bedstuy. One person is dead and another in critical condition after a accident between a FDNY truck and a ambulance.

The fatal accident took place at the corner of Myrtle Avenue & Throop Avenue in the Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn right before 1am early Thursday morning, when the Fire truck racing to a fire scene t-boned a ambulance on the way to the hospital with a critical 59 year old patient in the back of the ambulance. 

The 59 y/o male was deceased at the hospital, and his sister which was with him on the ambulance was seriously hurt, the 2 EMS personnel were injured along with 6 firefighters and transported to the hospital.

The NYPD's Collision Investigation Squad were on scene Investigation the exact circumstances of the crash.
