A MTA City Bus Left Dangling Off A Overpass Injures 8 In The Bronx

 

Bronx. Emergency crews are on scene in the Bronx where a city bus lost control and left half of the bus hanging from a overpass, injuring at least eight people including the driver.


The incident happened at University Avenue near the Cross Bronx Expressway around 11:00pm Thursday night, when the accordion city bus lost control and went off the overpass and landed the front half on the Cross Bronx Expressway and the back stayed on University Avenue.

Eight people were reportedly injured including the driver and 1 possible in serious condition.

NYPD'S Collision Squad along with MTA investigators were on scene investigating the exact cause of the accident.
