One Dead Another Critically Injured When Car Crashes Into MTA Bus

Bronx. One person died and another critically injured in an accident late Saturday night.

Incident happened on Bartow Avenue near Co Op City Blvd in the Bronx when a silver Nissan Altima crashed into the back of a MTA bus trapping the passengers in the vehicle. 

After extricating the occupants, EMS transported the two patients to Jacobi hospital, where the passenger died from his injuries and the 20 Y/o driver remains in critical condition.

NYPD's Collision Investigation Squad along with MTA investigators were on scene.
